Have you ever had a dream so big, you don’t even know how to pray for it and you can’t imagine how it could ever happen? If it did, it would be an “Only God” answer.

As I write this, it is 28 degrees not counting wind chill, and I have girls saddling their horses to head to the arena to ride for two hours in the cold. These kids are tough. We provide them with coats, gloves, and protection for their ears. But reality says, it is hard and even dangerous when the temperature drops to -6 degrees as it did a few weeks ago. Most would say, close for the winter. But the effects of trauma don’t wait until warmer weather and our kids beg to come. Glory Reins is their safe place, their happy place.

So, this is the “Big Dream”. A 120’x80’ indoor riding arena set up on the hill next to our outdoor arena. Jarod Gingrich of Hostetler Construction Company, who has provided other construction for us in the past has given us a beautiful diagram of what we are looking for along with an estimated cost of $150,000.00. A huge lack of faith fills me and I question who are you to dream of this? And yet, to do this ministry well, we need to keep our kids safe. At this time, we have been able to put away $30,000.00 towards the arena.

Glory Reins is committed to never going into debt, even when the goal seems impossible. Yet God is the God of the impossible. Please prayerfully consider how you can come along side us and help provide a safe year around place for our kids to have their sessions.
